East Ventures Donates 53 Units of Oxygen Concentrator to Yayas

Jakarta, IDN Times – Venture capital or venture capital company, East Ventures, continues its support to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia, by donating 53 oxygen concentrator (OC) units to the BUMN Foundation for Indonesia (BUMN Foundation).The handover of the OC was held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at the Ministry of SOEs Building, Jakarta."We are very grateful to the Ministry and BUMN Foundation for working hard in preparing Indonesia to face various health challenges.We believe this spirit will continue," said East Ventures Partner, Melisa Irene, in a statement quoted on Sunday (18/9/2022).Also Read: MySkill, Edutech Startup by ITB Alumni Gets East Venture FundingMelisa explained that all of the oxygen concentrators donated were the result of collective donations from the East Ventures ecosystem.Some of them are Mekari, Advotics, Arsitag, Bahasa.ai, Cicil, Content Collision, Desty, Hacktiv8, Justika, Medico, Recharge, SIRCLO, Xurya, Otten, Stickearn, Xeratic, Bonza, CoHive, Komunal, and Transfez."We hope that the assistance we provide can have a good impact on the people of Indonesia," he said.This donation is a continuation of the initiative presented by East Ventures with another party called Indonesia PASTI BISA (IDPB).The IDPB movement itself is an initiative presented to support Indonesia in dealing with COVID-19."Through this initiative, East Ventures has succeeded in distributing 100,020 test kits, 10,000 personal protective equipment (PPE), and 1,450 oxygen concentrators," said Melisa.Secretary of the Ministry of SOEs, Susyanto, said that his party very welcomes the assistance provided by East Ventures.The BUMN Foundation will distribute this oxygen concentrator to various health facilities (faskes), especially in areas that still need it."We believe that in facing a crisis, efforts and support from various parties are needed.Regardless of the COVID-19 case which has begun to sag, we are confident that the BUMN Foundation can distribute this tool to health facilities in need," he said.are you old enough yet?
