The Central Kalimantan Provincial Government (Central Kalimantan Provincial Government) received assistance from the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in the form of 49 oxygen concentrators or oxygen concentrators from PT Karya Dewi Putra or the Mitra Tanoto Foundation.Acting Regional Secretary (Pj. Sekda) Nuryakin symbolically accepted the assistance handed over by PT Karya Dewi Putra Representative Dani Sasono, located in front of the Lobby of the Governor's Office, Palangka Raya City, on Monday, August 30, 2021."Some time ago we (Central Kalimantan Provincial Government) received oxygen concentrator assistance from the President of the Republic of Indonesia, from PT Indo Moro Kencana, liquid oxygen assistance from PT Sinar Mas Group.And this morning, we (Central Kalimantan Provincial Government) also received an oxygen concentrator grant from PT PT Karya Dewi Putra as many as 49 units," said Acting Secretary of Regional Secretary Nuryakin who is also the Head of the Central Kalimantan Province Oxygen Task Force (Satgas).As is known, COVID-19 is a disease that attacks the respiratory organs or lungs, which can cause patients to experience respiratory problems, whether moderate, severe, or even critical, thus requiring intensive health care, especially oxygenation therapy.For this reason, the availability of oxygen is urgently needed, and oxygen supply must always be available in a safe period of time in all hospitals dealing with COVID-19."To ensure the availability of oxygen in hospitals, the Central Kalimantan Province Oxygen Task Force Team under the command of the Governor of Central Kalimantan continues to make efforts to meet oxygen needs, one of which is through CSR from business institutions (private)," explained Acting. Secretary of State Nuryakin.The 49 oxygen concentrator units will be distributed by the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government to several regencies and cities."The Central Kalimantan Provincial Government will distribute oxygen concentrator assistance from PT Karya Dewi Putra to meet the needs of hospitals treating COVID-19 patients.As many as 30 units in Palangka Raya City, 5 units in Pulang Pisau Regency, and 14 units in South Barito Regency," said Acting Secretary of Regional Secretary Nuryakin.Thank you and appreciation to business institutions, including PT Karya Dewi Putra, who have supported the Regional Government in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic in Central Kalimantan."On behalf of the Province of Central Kalimantan and the people of Central Kalimantan, I express my gratitude and give high appreciation to PT Karya Dewi Putra for the oxygen concentrator grant given to the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government," concluded Acting Secretary of Regional Secretary Nuryakin.On the same occasion, Plt.Head of the Central Kalimantan Province Disaster Management and Fire Fighting Agency (BPBPK), Erlin Hardi, said that with the involvement of business institutions by providing oxygen concentrators, it would be able to assist the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government in handling COVID-19 health."With the oxygen concentrator grant given from PT Karya Dewi Putra this morning, it will further strengthen the existing health care system in Central Kalimantan Province, especially in Palangka Raya City, Pulang Pisau Regency, and South Barito Regency, so that strengthen our health care system,” said Erlin Hardi.Meanwhile, as a representative of PT.Karya Dewi Putra, Deputy Head of Litigation Social Security License (SSLL) Dani Sasono, expressed his involvement in participating in assisting the Government's efforts in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic."Seeing the condition of our society and country which is currently in difficulty, especially due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are also called to help the Government and the community, especially in overcoming the services for the COVID-19 response," he said."One of the things we do is help (provide) this oxygen concentrator as an effort to provide assistance and ease of difficulties faced by our hospitals in serving the community.
